MS Dhoni a man of many talents: took decisions as CEO of Gulf Oil
MS Dhoni attended important meetings and took key decisions
as CEO of Gulf Oil India for a day.
From his days as a ticket
collector in Ranchi to a flamboyant wicketkeeper batsman to India's most
successful captain, the Jharkhand lad has done everything.
On Monday, Dhoni got to don
another hat - he was CEO of Gulf Oil India, albeit for a day. The 35-year-old,
who will soon be seen in action for the Rising Pune Supergiant in the Indian
Premier League, took the Gulf Oil India staff by surprise when he walled in to
the office, attended some important meetings and was even understood to have
taken some key decisions.
"As a CEO of the
company for the day, Mahi has attended all the special meetings of the company.
He will also take quite a few decisions, just like a real CEO.Mahi's
association with the company goes back a long way, and for a long time, he also
wanted to understand how a corporate CEO works. He wanted to try this out
too," Dhoni's manager Arun Pandey was quoted by Sportstar. Dhoni was
named brand ambassador of Gulf Oil in 2011 and has since enjoyed a great
rapport with the company.
Dhoni has
been in top form since stepping down as India's limited-overs captain in
January. Against England, he smashed his first ODI hundred since 2013 and later
hammered his maiden T20 International fifty.
MS Dhoni is a man of many
talents and he has sure come a long way.
